Linda Mansouria, CMP, CMM is the 2002-2003 Past President of the Northern California Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She led approximately 1,000 members within the chapter. Linda has owned and operated MAKE IT HAPPEN, LLC, a meeting, event, and sales incentive travel management firm providing comprehensive meeting and event solutions, since 1996. She has served on the board of directors for numerous other organizations, and has worked on several MPI International Committees such as the 2003-2004 Global Paragon Awards Committee and the 2004- 2005 CMM Advisory Board. Her firm is a certified Women's Owned Business.

A former Human Resource Director for an International Freight Forwarding Firm, Linda has a vast network of global resources. She has also owned and operated franchises including Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream stores and Round Table Pizza restaurants.

Linda has been published as a leading authority for the hospitality industry and has earned the prestigious Certification in Meeting Management (CMM) designation, the industry's first university-supported global professional designation for senior-level meeting professionals, which focuses on strategic thinking and management skills that are critical to advancement in the industry. She currently serves on the Editorial Board of Stamats Meetings Media, and is a member of NAWBO the National Association of Women Business Owners, and the San Francisco Visitor and Convention Bureau.

Linda is proud to say that she is a second generation San Franciscan. She and a business partner have created a yearly event for this targeted group called the San Francisco Native Jamboree.
